Description:
Oskar (Kåre Hedebrant) collects news items about the grisly murders plaguing his town. He is twelve-year-old and is the constant target of bullies. Spending his time plotting revenge, he then meets a new girl named Eli (Lina Leandersson), a misfit vampire who steals his heart. As a serial killer continues to prey on teen boys in their small Swedish village, Eli helps Oskar find the courage to stand up to his tormenters.

Our Opinion:
This is a darling of a horror film. A puppy love story of two 12 year olds with a little twist, Eli is a vampire. It is a rare that foreign films can capture a world wide audience like this one. There is talk of an English re-make. It is a true gem and if you like vampire movies this one is very interesting and should be added to your collection. See trailer: Let the Right One In
