The writing and the characters are so rich with texture. It gets down to the grit and grime of a rainy week in a big city. While you don’t actually see the murders performed, always the after math, there is an enormous creep factor. The whole story intertwines between these two detectives who are following evidence at the scene of each crime which are horrifically staged as if to lead them to the next and the perpetrator who slips up just a little bit and gets deep into their heads. It is so well done that you will want to watch it again and again.
