Star Rating: 3
Several stories weave together, such as a loner fending off a demented trick-or-treater’s attacks, kids uncovering a freaky secret, a school principal — who moonlights as a serial killer — poisoning his candy, and more. The usually boisterous traditions of Halloween turn baleful, and everyone in a small town tries to survive one night in pure hell in writer-director Michael Dougherty’s fright fest. Dylan Baker, Anna Paquin and Brian Cox star.
Rated R, 1 hr. 22 min., 2008
This one comes from Warner Brothers and the production quality is good except for some dark scenes where it was hard to see what was going on. This is a strange film and when you see it you will know what I mean. If you don’t read the description for the movie where it talks about that there are several intertwined stories, you will become confused. It is interesting and entertaining, however, there isn’t a plot so there is nothing to think about. For that it is good for only one viewing.
